Is the Constitution Still Alive?
There is a question.
A very simple question.
But if you ask it honestly, perhaps it can awaken something deep within you—
Is the Constitution of India still alive?
The Constitution is there in books.
It is there in the courts.
It is there in Parliament.
It is there in government offices.
But is it also alive in our hearts?
That is the real question.
A Human Being Is Not Your Enemy Because of Religion
Hindus are being made to fear Muslims.
Muslims are being made to fear Hindus.
People are being divided in the name of caste.
In the name of language.
In the name of ideology.
In the name of politics.
And what are we doing?
We are silent.
Why?
Because we are afraid.
But remember—
When people become afraid to speak the truth, slavery has already begun to return.
Slavery does not always arrive wearing chains.
Sometimes it enters your life as fear.
Think About the India Your Children Will Inherit
The young people who are 20–25 years old today will be the elders of this country several decades from now.
Their children will grow up in that India.
Do they want an India where, before a child leaves home, people first ask about his religion?
Do they want an India where the safety of a person depends upon his religion, caste or political identity?
If your answer is NO—
then we must speak today.
Because history does not suddenly change.
The silence of today becomes the system of tomorrow.
The Constitution Is More Than a Law Book
The Constitution did not merely give us rights.
It gave us a vision—
Justice.
Liberty.
Equality.
Fraternity.
The Constitution tells us that the value of a citizen cannot be decided by religion.
It cannot be decided by caste.
It cannot be decided by political preference.
A person is a human being—
and that should be enough.
But if we forget this simple truth, even the most beautiful constitutional provisions will remain only words written on paper.
What Is a Real Revolution?
Revolution does not mean killing anyone.
Revolution does not mean standing against a religion.
Revolution does not mean hating a political party.
Revolution means recognising the slavery within yourself.
When you stop following the crowd without thinking—
the revolution begins.
When you ask—
“Why?”
the revolution begins.
When you say—
“Even if injustice happens to someone who disagrees with me, I will stand against that injustice.”
the revolution begins.
And when you say—
“I do not want hatred. I want truth.”
then a human being is born.
The Citizen Is Greater Than Power
The power of every government ultimately comes from the people.
Therefore, a citizen should not live in fear of power.
A citizen should stand with the Constitution.
Governments can change.
Political parties can change.
Leaders can change.
But—
the Constitution of India is not the property of any government or political party.
It belongs to every Indian.
It belongs to you.
It belongs to me.
It also belongs to the person whose opinions we strongly disagree with.
And perhaps this is the greatest test of democracy—
Can we protect the rights of our opponent even when we disagree with his ideas?
If the answer is yes—
democracy is alive.
If the answer is no—
perhaps we need to look within ourselves.
And Now, the Question Is for You
What kind of India do you want to leave behind?
An India—
where children grow up in fear?
Or an India—
where a child knows his neighbour not by his religion, but by his humanity?
An India—
where the law becomes weak before the powerful?
Or an India—
where the law is equal for everyone?
An India—
where citizens are afraid to ask questions?
Or an India—
where asking questions is a sign of a living democracy?
The decision is yours.
Because—
a country is not built only inside Parliament.
A country is built inside our homes.
In our language.
In our behaviour.
In the minds of our children.
What Is Slavery?
Slavery is not only when someone binds your hands.
Slavery is when fear binds your voice.
Slavery is when you see injustice and say—
“Why should I care?”
Slavery is when you know something is wrong but still stand with the wrong.
Slavery is when your conscience says—
“This is wrong.”
and your fear says—
“Remain silent.”
At that moment, you discover whether you are truly free—or already a slave.
Rise!
Do not rise against anyone.
Rise against the hatred within yourself.
Do not rise to defeat a religion.
Rise to defeat ignorance.
Do not rise to destroy a political party.
Rise against injustice.
Do not rise to hate another human being.
Rise for humanity.
And if the Constitution is in your hands—
do not merely read it.
Live it.
Because the day an Indian citizen begins to see the Constitution not merely as a book, but as a way of life—
no power built upon hatred, discrimination or division will be strong enough to destroy the spirit of India.
India does not need a war against an enemy to save itself.
We need a struggle against the hatred within ourselves.
And that—
is the greatest revolution.
